In need of good mystical music

Hey I'm a newbie to this forum and apparently to good music. All the music I've downloaded is great, but I've overplayed what I've got and have failed on my own to find some new music.

I've probly broken a buncha rules by posting in the wrong technical section or whatnot, but this will be my only post so if it's deleted that's fine. I just know I'ma music lover and all of you are, too. So basically I'm wondering what good music is around, I mean GOOD music. Trance, Rock, Alternative, whatever's out there that soothes your mind. I'm a big fan of Tool and Ra and such, but there is so much good music out there that I've never heard of and will not know of unless someone shouts out something they just can't stop listening to.

I would appreciate any help whatsoever. Thanks

WELL, I am a huge huge lover of country music. I'd check out these releases:

Keith Urban - Days Go By
Jason Aldean - Amarillo Sky
Big n Rich - Save A Horse (Ride a Cowboy)
Phil Vassar - Six Pack Summer
Deeana Carter - Strawberry Wine
Jamie O'Neal - There is no Arizona

awesome, simply awesome

Not a huge fan of country...or rap...or that truly heavy metal crap. Cmon, we're all picky about our music. You guys know Lacuna Coil...and A Perfect Circle...and 10 Years...and Disturbed...Godsmack...startin to get a lil of the genre i'm talkin about.

Or maybe there's just this strange band that appeals to you for reasons unexplained. We all have that favourite band that we feel nobody but you knows about.

I was just joking with the country, I love it but understand its the opposite of Lacuna Coil.

If mystical is what you want, I'd check out Semantic Spaces by Delerium.

If I remember correctly some of the songs on that CD like Resurrection were on the darker side which you might be a fan of.

You can post this at Music Discussion.

Semantic Spaces....thanks, I'll check 'em out.

Thanks Cloud...I'll do that.

Any more replys on this will be happily read.

If by mystical, you mean, deep and psychedelic, I recommend Khetzal-Corolle The whole album is a fabulous full-on unmixed psy goodness.

If you want something a little more chill and not quite as psychedelic, then just about anything from Boards of Canada will do. I recommend "Everything You do is a Balloon" and "Hey Saturday Sun" for starters.

And if you want to explore some classic trance at its peak, try Paul van Dyk-The Politics of Dancing Vol 1, Paul Oakenfold-Another World, And Global Underground 009, San Francisco.
