Here are a couple of quick videos I made... nothing too crazy, just examples of basic mixing. Thought they might be helpful to anyone just starting out:

Basic mixing on a Xone 92 (rotary) and CDJ-1000's:

Mixing with Torq and Technics 1200MK5's:

Nice! overlaping a bit much on the lows in the first vid :p

On a serious note.. rotory seems like fun, although it must be kinda awkward at first when your used to faders, good vids.

Ahh :)

Rotaries are definately great. I had a Denon DN-X1500 before I went with the Xone. You can really control the levels in such small amounts, sometimes I don't even use the eq's to mix.

I really want to get a rotary mixer. If I had one I wouldn't use the EQs either.

And with the filters (high pass), you have another mixing tool in your belt.

You should get a Urei 1620LE :)
They are still selling them for 499 (pounds) in the UK.

How much do they go for in Texas?
Ryan0751
Well I meant ordering one from overseas... :)

I actually looked into it, with shipping it was like $900 from the UK.

Buy it in the US, and you'll pay $1500!
