I'm going to cam and valvetrain my car next summer too but, it's a rather mild cam as it will still be my daily driver, still better than stock though. Maybe port the throttle body and then tune it. I'd like to be around 185 at the wheels. I would be happy with mid 14's.

12.4!!

My wrx gtech'd at 270bhp and 288 tq

after I fixed a boost leak, haven't run the car yet at 14 psi due to an accident. Hoping to brake into the mid - high 13's on the stock td04 turbo untuned. Best et was 14.065 with a .538 RT and under 1.8 60ft (timing system started messing up for that run but it was my fastest to date on the track.

Mod's, 95 GC8 wrx, ej20, 4.111 final drive, rear lsd front open diff, td04 turbo, fmic, 3" hks free flow exhaust, stock cam's, stock manifold and slightly modded dp. Fully adjustable suspention, umm ecu unlocked from japan with no rev limiter ( car stops making power after 6500 so i shift about then) no speed limiter, running rich as and back firing like a beast.

Im gonna be selling her to make room for a track car rather than daily driver and track car.. too much trouble when things brake and I need to get places.

Anyone seen smart car's with the 1300 bike engines??? that looks like hella fun! :wtf:

Nice!! 1.8 60ft is verrry nice!

Here are my mods:
2002 Civic Si, K20A3

Short ram intake
Shorty header
Hi-flow cat
Catback exhaust
Hondata Intake manifold gasket
Reflashed ECU - advances timing and raises rev limiter to 7700
Throttle body coolant bypass
Short shifter
springs - 2 inch drop
shocks/struts
front and rear camber kits

My next mods are:
Motor mount inserts
Engine torque damper

and that will be it for this year.

Next year:

Switch to Cold Air intake once the rainy season passes
Lightweight rims
Bore out throttle body
Upgrade to completely programmable ecu
Cams
Valvetrain
Tune
And possibly switch to full coilovers, not sure yet

Then it will be time to start thinking about painting and fixing all the minor damage on the car.

My absolute favorite thing about the car is that I've done all the mods myself, with the exception of the shocks and springs and on that one I assisted another more experienced friend.

Sometimes I'd really like to have an extremely fast car but, I also enjoy that this car is ridiculously fun to drive and I can still get up to 35 mpg. I could slap on a raceheader and gain some more HP but, I still like that it's street legal. I also have some options for racing cams but again, I'd like to keep it street legal. I'll probably be getting a new car soon and still keeping this one but, even then I think I'll keep it legal.

Can't wait 'til next summer!!

why are you boring out the throttle body?

i assume the car runs a multi point injection system, with the air being directed thru a plenium chamber?

if so, ditch the plenium chamber (which is your inlet manfold), convert it to run a throttle body per cylinder and set up 8 injectors!

I'm not going to pretend that I have exact reasons why I don't want to, because I'm still pretty new to this and still learning but, from what I've read that's usually a pretty aggressive set-up for pretty aggressive cams. Also heard that it's relatively difficult to tune and possibly not street legal. The last thing would be install and fabrication, I still want to do as much of the work as I can by myself; I don't know that I can tackle that one! But from what I've read, if you stay N/A, it's one of the best ways to run.

My dad drives a Focus.
Boomer drives a Focus.
Therefore, Boomer is my dad.

:conf: :wtf:

Is yours an SVT? Even if it's not, you're my dad anyways.
