Here's some trance that was big earlier this year (and I'm not saying I like all of it)...

C-quence - Endorphine
Thomas Bronzwaer - Shadow World
Selu Vibra - Divine (amazing)
Armin van Buuren - Control Freak (Sander van Doorn remx)
Sander van Doorn - Punk'd (Sean Tyas remix)
Sean Tyas - Mirella
Sean Tyas - Lift
Ferry Corsten - Fire (Ron van den Beuken remix)
Ferry Corsten - Star Traveller [Hydroid Remix]
Ferry Corsten - Sublime (Ferry Corsten vs Thrillseekers)
Filo & Peri - Ordinary Moment
Cape Town - Proglifter (massive track)
Airbase - Escape
Nitrous Oxide - North Pole
Pulsedriver - Insane
Sunlounger - White Sand (summer hit, no suprise, but dull)
Super8 vs DJ Tab - Helsinki Scorchin
Kyau & Albert - Kiksu
Smith & Pledger - White
Arksun - Arisen
Aalto - 5 (great track)
Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms (boring imo)

I could list several more, but I'm tired & frankly, I'm sick of most of the trance tracks that came out this year.

This has been a big year for Sean Tyas & Sander van Doorn. Seemed like they were all over the place.

For a quality 2006 release check out Vibrasphere's album Archipelago. It's been raved about in TA forums.

And oh yeah, check out the thread on TA's nominations for best track of 2006. Should be starting soon, since 2006 is almost over.

Hope this helps :)

The trance track that excited me the most when I would hear it in a club this year was definitely 4 Strings - Take Me Away (Purple Haze Remix). :)
