Got my phone stolen at a pool party

i am seriously ready to kill someone... i havent had anything stolen from me in years, and this stupid night i went to a pool party and me and my good friend both got our cell phones stolen..
i am soo pissed i dono wtf to do now, i am 10 months before my upgrade and i have a contract.. looks like ill be buying a phone at full price :confused:

| Sorry to hear that. My phone was hit by a car, LOL, and I was locked in a contract as well. I bought an unlocked phone from ebay, way cheaper then what wireless providers charge ! Check it out, you may be able to replace your phone for not much at all ! |

yeah man..sorry to hear about that. That's probably one of the worst things to happen. Especially if you don't have your contacts #s saved anywhere else!
But yeah, definitely check out eBay. Don't buy the phone from and of the providers as they will rape you with the costs. eBay definitely has cheaper phones, but make sure they are compatible or unlocked.
If there not unlocked, its pretty easy to unlock them (depends on the phone and model). Lots of phones only require a certain password to unlock.
There are lots of places that unlock phones for a fee as well so you don't screw anything up. |

| Just in case it happens to others... I've seen a little device in stores...it's a SIM card backup keychain... apparently you put in your SIM card, and backs up all its data. I saw it for 10 bucks, and would save a lot of hassle recovering numbers. |
