REVIEW: The Blu Experience @ CoZo/Sasha's Birthday! (pg. 3)

alright, so after not being able to sleep last night. I finally got to bed at 2am. I had 2 alarm clocks set for 6am and one shortly after 6 to make sure that my ass was up and out of bed. I got my first call from Miss. Nada at 6:05am,
"Guess what time it is? Time for you to get up bitch!" LOL
followed by a "awww, I feel really bad waking you up, you sound like you need more sleep" hahahahah.
Anyhow, I was up and out the door by 7am as planned and grabbed some coffee and Jenn on the way and was at Starbucks at Ali's by 8:15 this morning. Then I was ready to go. I was nice and awake and ready to dance up a storm.
Sydney Blu did an amazing job with the beats this morning. It was just what I needed to get me going. By the time Noon rolled around I thought I was gonna die. The heat was getting to me and my legs just didn't wanna move any more. I managed to take a couple breaks but was back out on the floor once again to bust a move. Around 1:30pm though, all hell broke loose for me when Thunderstruck was played :( I know everyone else LOVES that tune, but I hated the original and I don't like the remix. But other than that 1 song, I have no other complaints :D
It was great to see everyone out this morning as well no matter what time you arrived at. We definitely tore it up at CoZo and not that I could do this every weekend, but it was nice to go there after a good nights sleep and some energy to boot. You guys are all troopers and I loved every minute of it ;) And I almost forgot. My official introduction to English Rachel :) It was a pleasure meeting you.
And like I told Mr. Birthday Boy Sashka, I wouldn't have gotten out of bed at 6am for just any body. I am glad you had such a fabulous time. You were so excited and I am happy that I was a part of today :) Happy Birthday Babe! We <3 you! MWA!

wow. so my first time at CoZo and it wasn't nearly as scary as what i had been lead to believe. nothing freaky going on that i saw and no one really bothered us, but i guess the trick to that is go with a big group and dance like mad so you clear lots of space.
speaking of dancing, holy...i have never seen that many ta's giving it that hard for that long on the dancefloor... danceoffs like every 2 minutes that just didn't end. i was exhausted by the time we left, but it was worth it.
the music was great. the last hr of her set was the best for me. totally lost it when she dropped 'possessed', my favourite dirty track. the great music continued on the drive home (thnx to tiesto circa june 03 @the docks)when we got stuck in traffic for what seemed like forever.
overall, great time but won't be going back soon. fab to see/dance with familiar faces and great meeting some new ones (rachel, cuzo, and geli):D |

fantastic night / morning ... got there nice and early to jam it up with dekoze and around 9 rest of you fukkers came and party got that much better :D gr8 seeing everyone. the place was packed but surprisingly the sketch factor was very minimal. good tunes all around except for the time when the Cdj jus went blank right during the build up lolz.
Happy Birthday again Sasha ... you are a king among mankind. |

Everyone loves it and went insane when it was played, Cribby and I don't love it and stood there looking at each other in hopes the pain would soon be over. |
