CDJ800 is dead. Ouch!

I bought 2 CDJ800 two years ago, and I actively used it so far, very often.

When I put a CD in one of them, the CDJ try to read it during 30-45sec, and then eject it. For every CDs, burnt, originals, with or without vinyl mode or MT.

I don't really understand. I did not try to compete with Howells by doing a 120 hours dj-set today, I just used it as a simple player, this midday during 30 min.

Is it dead? If yes, is my other CDJ gonna die too?

F** :(

Damn man that sucks. Maybe there was a power surge or something?

Silly question but have you tried turning it off for a couple of minutes? I know it's a long shot but it might work - sometimes I take a CD out then when I put a new CD in it starts playing the OLD track :wtf: I think it's probably still held in the buffer memory or something?

I'm sure you've already tried it but turning the unit off for a couple of minutes will clear all it's memory. If not I think it might mean a trip to the Pio repair centre for your CDJ.

Don't panic. Sounds like a ed laser. Relatively cheap to replace. Get it to a Pio authorised service centre.
