Hi guys!
I'm new to this forum, i just checked it out and i like you guys here. Hope i have a good time with you.
Let me introduce myself, I'm Dj-Silent-Hunter(it's not a serious artist name, i just havent decided what i should call my self).
You maby didnt heard about me, but if you hang in newgrounds audio portal you know who i am.

Anyway, i wanted you to check out my new half finished album(7/8 tracks ready)
Wanted you to "review" or leave a comment about how you feel about my tracks to improve them for the big release!
When you guys helped me improve my songs i'll remaster all songs and make them VBR bitrate.

I thought about changing to Dj Zamli or something like that. Thx for the advice tho.

Thx for the fine comment, i like the cover too, but my favourite track is Hard Binary.
It's kind of lame 101 views and 4 replies, cmon guys, i posted my album on a counter strike forum and they gave me more comments there, on a counter strike forum. I dont belive this, is my music that bad? |

Well generally that ís the way it goes around here.
You get alot of views, but a view can be defined as a click on the link to your thread. Alot of these people just read comments and thén decide to listen. Plus, it's also not very well for your "selfpromotion" around thése boards to write things such as:

from the start:
track one doesnt really fit the cover, the real sound of trance.
this sounds like a musicmaker synth "guided" by a mooger bass..
the kickbasskickbasskickbasskickbass structure has dissapeared from most "real" trance songs. it still sounds monotonous and "cheap". I don't mean to offend you in any way, but it would be better to rename the album ór to use "less" cheezy synths in your tracks.
.. I listened to all tracks and I've got to say they sound like you just started producing ór you want to go retro like mid 90's..
the soundquality isn't that good, you should do some reading about eq compressing and sound spectra, that would really help to get a "bigger sounding" sound. You hear this more in the last track "What is love" where all the octaves from the synths are balanced better. All I can say now, keep producing and keep getting better and better!! |
