The '5 steps to getting the girl of your dreams' thread reminded me of something funny that happened this weekend...
So I was at the bar, and I had done my hair sort of curly/wavy, making me look like quite the sex kitten, lol. Well this guy comes up to me, taps me on the shoulder, and says, "Hi there, how are you this evening?"
So I turned around and it's a guy I know that I haven't seen in ages, so I was like, "I'm really good! How have you been??"
And then his face got sort of twisted up and he replied, "Oh my god, I didn't even recognize you with your hair like that...I was trying to pick you up!!"
So I laughed and said thanks for the (roundabout) compliment.
Then he laughed and went, "Welp, see ya later!", and took off.

| i have tight curly hair. what gets me is everyone with straight hair says "oh my god i wish my hair was curly" but everyone with curly wishes the opposite. fortunately i can cut the curls out by going very short, and hopefully a guy i've not seen in ages won't try to pick me up for it. good going jenny ;) |

No he really was surpised, and he knows I have a boyfriend. This guy has never even implied any sort of interest in me whatsoever. He definitely felt like a dumbass.
The look on his face was priceless, lol. And the "Welp, see ya later!" was even more jokes. We had a good laugh about it later on in the evening. |
