You have to order them on the internet. I don't know the website off by heart...but do a search on the million ear plug threads that have been started.
And as for what they look like when you're wearing them. There's just that little stick part that sticks out at the side. Personally I don't think it looks silly...most people can figure out that they're ear plugs. And besides...my hearing is a bit more important than looking silly. I'd wear giant ear muffs around the club if I had to. |

Yeah, the ER-20s doesn't ruin the music. It just reduces the decibel level over all so everything still sounds good. I just find it reduces the sound too much. But it depends on the club though. |

Bang on... i dont think they look funny AT ALL. Best looking ones ive seen, IMO. I like how cool the blue looks personally!
and ur hearing comment is very valid too... but its so nice to be able to combined the benefits and importants of ear protection w/ something u actually really like or dont mind the look of too!

Always. Always. Always.
I've declined going out on a couple occasions because I know that the venue we are going to has dangerous dB levels.
I will eventually invest in custom fitted - for sound-quality sake.
But for now I use the 3M foam with an NRR of 28 dB.

I've worn earplugs so consistantly that (somehow) I am able to decode any attenuated sound and mentally extrapolate to make the levels flat.
Sounds weird I know, but I never notice when I have the plugs in!:toocool: |

regular foam earplugs are not good cause they block all the EQs totally... I wear custom ear moulds...sound is untouched just 15-20 dBs lower. I get no ringing at all and the moulds stay in place when dancing.
PS. If anyone needs the yellow ones I got cartons of them at work ;) |
I agree. I have the custom fit ER-25's, and they completely work! Though even the sound at GUV is really vibrant in there, all it did was make my head feel very light and vibrating after and hardly any ringing to pretty much none! I was so satisfied beyond belief! A lot of people high 5 me for wearing them whenever they see me with them on. They may be expensive but COMPLETELY worth it! |
