Ahh, for some reason I thought you were an Ohio guy.... Probably Angie's fault.
Our race for congress isn't at all competitive - In fact the majority of Wisco elections aren't, but we have a referendum on Gay Marriage that's pretty massive and our gubernatorial election is sort of important (though the democratic incumbant was up by about 15 points yesterday) for renewable energy and medical research issues.
I most excited about the Ohio midterms... ing battleground that state is! |

I never know who is ahead. The gubernatorial race has only a 4 point spread in one poll, 14 in another and I think 8 in the third.
Hopefully Rod will be out. |

Yeah, the gubernatorial race is a pretty big deal. |

The weird thing is that the majority of polls throughout the state had Doyle ahead anywhere from 8-16 points yesterday - But I get this disconcerting feeling that it's going to be a LOT closer than that. |

I have an equally disconcerting feeling. I am not a Mark Green fan in any way, shape, or form. |

Neither am I. There are countless issues that I struggle with, as I don't think I've ever seen a more polarizing candidate for Governor in Wisconsin, but the one that really gets me is his attitude toward education. If Green had his way, I'd be paying private school prices for state university, and half the professors I have would be out of jobs. |

That, along with the stances on research, are the two most decisive factors for me. |

It's so frustrating to have to take part in such polarized elections. |

| being a non American, i don't feel that my opinion on your future government counts, but.. here goes anyway. I am relieved that Bush is done! I would like to see the democrats back in power. But that's just the opinion of your ignorant neighbour to the north |
