Yes, but you should place that blame on the oil companies and not the tax. They have had record profits all year, with some of the highest paid CEO's in the country.

isnt 87 a tax on oil company's (record) profits? im sure the oil companies would of just passed this tax to the consumer though :(

also didnt vote cause I'm only a resident, maybe next year :)

There was a provision stating that off-setting their tax loss on the consumer would have been illegal, but this wasn't in the "quick summary" on the ballot :/
