Prolapse.
I just got to witness my first Barium Enema at the hospital. It is a procedure that requires tipping the patient, filling their large intestine with barium (a radiopaque substance), and taking multiple films.
Lucky for me, the patient had a prolapsed rectum.
Not sure what that is? GOOGLE IT

In my first year of nursing I took care of a patient with a prolapsed uterus. She also had hemmorhoids. My job? To administer her rectal suppository every day.
