Ok, so I screwed up my laptop

I spilled coffee on the keyboard and it doesn't work. I don't have accidental warranty so i have to pay for whatever it takes to fix the wretched thing. I took the laptop to the school PC repair center and they said they charge $ 55 / hour labor charges :wtf: + whatever it takes to replace/fix the hardware. So I didn't give them my laptop.

I contacted DELL and they gave me instructions on how to open up the keyboard and clean it. But I've never opened my Laptop before. Otherwise, they said I need to buy a new keyboard.

So, I gotta do it all by myself. Has anyone opened the laptop keyboard before ? Does anyone have an idea how much it costs to get a new one ? Can I buy it off Ebay ?

Just take off the keypad (Must open up your laptop) and clean everything, it should start working after that.

that seems to be a better option, considering that the keyboard DELL suggested (XG900) costs more than a 100 bucks.
