my friends brother used to this on the subway.. he and a mate was out one time, my mates brother jumped off, but the other guy only had to take one more stop.. and he got decapitated while being in a tunnel..
i don't believe that.. gas exchange occurs at the level of the alveoli in the lungs, not through the skin. and i doubt that "injecting" your skin with oxygen as such will supply enough to keep your entire body sufficiently oxygenated.
also, why wouldn't you be able to breathe? you're still surrounded by atmospheric gases, shouldn't matter that you're falling very rapidly.
and the FAQ damages its credibility by stating that oxygen undergoes "osmosis." oxygen undergoes diffusion, osmosis refers to the movement of water.

Osmosis is the passive transfer of liquid from a highly concentrated solute to one that doesn't have as much stuff in it.
So yea. I agree. I took AP biology, and there's no reason you couldn't breath.

Fact: Breathing during free fall is possible, contrary to the way people tend to think. If breathing wouldn't be possible the skydiver wouldn't be able to open the parachute because they would be unconscious.
