Things to do in Ottawa???

Hey y'all!!
I am planning a trip to Ottawa to 'meat' a friend.
I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for hotels, romantic things to do or anything fun in or around Ottawa. It scheduled for the weekend of the 19th.
Is anyone playing there that weekend? Or Montreal??

The ByWard Market area has a bunch of restaurants, pubs & clubs. You might wanna check that out. You could also go for a stroll along the Rideau canal.
edit... you really wanna have a good time... spend a night at the Chateau Laurier :) |

| Max Graham is @ Heaven (Ottawa) on Friday the 17th, and on the same night Markus Schulz is @ Stereo (Montreal). Stereo is amazing, something to definitly check out ! |

Market is fun. a few clubs to check out, although its mostly house.
war museum, civilization museum, canal, paraliment, gatineau park,chelsea, art gallery. lots to do . Ottawa is great. |
