He talks about WMC, the guys at ultra need to bring in some fresh blood, and SVD would be an excellent start, how about a trance tent with DJs who have never played Ultra, such as Rank 1, Marco V, SVD, Phynn this might bring some much needed energy into the event, along with one tent of just the guys form Swedish House mafia

there's also more trance acts that probably deserve a spot at ultra more than SVD or Phynn...ronski speed =)

ronski speed ftw!

just rant from hereon&out:

only problem i have with SvD is that ALL the tracks he played had those "anti-climax" takeoffs, where u have massive buildups and then when u expect it to kick in fulltime, it doesnt, its just like, "hey lets screw the main riff, only bass and kick" lol.. i don't mind it, but i was secretly craving a fullblown "normal" takeoff by the end of the night.. :P still a friggin bangin evening :D

anyone ever hear svd spin for +4 hours in a club? oh boyyyy! :eyespop: that was his first north american appearance and he blew everyone away...

I love the way he builds the song, and that whole anti-climax takeoff works because his takeoffs are so bass-orientated... The last 30 min of his set I tried crouching in front of the speakers and I couldn't breathe... Awesome... He really seemed like a nice guy to me as well, got to chat with him for a minute or so, and you could see on his face when things were taking off, he enjoyed it as much as the rest of us...

if im not mistaken, your Joens friend and we stood next to each other :D

i like the anticlimax builds as well, and i know its coming, so im never like dissatisfied, i just think it would really kick ass if he snuck in a track that had a full on massive takeoff with like a massive lead and .. really fool the crowd into thinking it is an ordinary SvD-style track and then Booom111!!! everybody goes insane :P
