what to expect from techno and trance?

| I want to start getting into this music, cause I think its so amazing and what to make some awesoem stuff. I am going to buy some kind of synthesizer. My question is how hard is techno and trance? Is there alot of skill, or no skill in making the music. Is pretty much all of it so eay that anyone can do it? if anyone knows, please answer these questions. thanks alot! |

The stickied topics there have just about every piece of info you might need. Surprisingly enough you're not the first person to ask these questions (and most certainly not the last).
The only thing I would add would be to start with software and only move up to hardware when you know what you're doing. |

In a perfect world there would be. Nowadays producing is just made so easy anyone can get something crap released by getting a cracked copy of FL Studio and copying some big hit.
But if you want to make something good, there obviously is skill and talent involved, just like in anything else. |
