A plasma-based test does exist which can determine recent marijuana use, but for the longest time the government has been unwilling to pay for it....I have no idea if that is what will be used. |

how about the fact that a G driver can have a couple of drinks or up to 0.08 alcohol limit...
will that mean that stoner can have a few joints before driving ??? |

It's probably better for everyone if I do drive stoned (I don't do it all the time, but it happened every once in a while back in the day).
I drive like a maniac while sober. I still suprised I've never gotten a speeding ticket *knocks on wood* At least if i'm stoned I drive the speed limit. |

I agree with the idea in pricipal. There is no need for drug driving just like there shouldnt be drunk driving. But there is no clear method for testing whether you are high. They can only dtermine if drugs are in your system. Perhaps you got high 3 days ago? Drugs can stay in your system for months sometimes.
This is why i cant support this. There are too many variables involved.
Also MADD canada is involved and i personally dont like how that organization has evolved from an anti drinking and driving group to an all out anti alcohol group. |

That reminds me of a time in highschool I was stoned at around 3 am driving down the 401 with a carload of buddies, we were all in a zone listening to Bob Marley(cliche) and realized people were highbeaming us and driving like it was a formula 1 track until my buddy realized something "dude your going 40" |

hahahahaha...thats hilarious. Thats one way the cops and easily detect if someones been smoking. If they see anyone going under the speed limit, then there's room for suspicion. |

still try and prove that its because you are high. There has to be a quantitative test and there isnt |
