Wow did you guys see these, SSL 4000 Bundle from waves.
Puts Renaissance compressor and PSP master compressor to shame. Im adding the ssl 4000 bundle to my christmas list :thepirate |

| i was talking to a few people and a lot of them said Focusright makes a product called Liquid mix that is supposed to be really great too, it comes with bunch of compressors as well. Anyone use it before or the ssl bundle? |

The waves ssl plugs are pretty good. I just find it funny that people are trying to recreate the ssl sound, as through the end of the 80s and 90s there were many trying to get away from it!
Anyway focusrite liquid mix is good, but it's essentially a hardware / closed solution. Like ssl's own duende (which is ACTUAL ssl digital eq)n it's good, but a limited trick pony.
Waves ssl should serve you for 95% of all your basic eq & compression needs if you like the sound... |
