she could've said to me "could you please not take any more pictures of me tonight? id appreciate that." and i would comply. |
But isn't your job to take photos?
Didn't you just say that every big DJ knows there are photographers there? |

it is my job but if she asked nicely i would've allowed her to have her privacy. every big dj that plays in any big city knows they will most likely come across club/site photographers. |

Sarah, I feel your pain :(
well, not really...because I had a blast at Stereo for Mark Farina this weekend without experiencing any of that bull. The only unwanted touch I received was from some circuit guy trying to pick me up, lol.
seriously though...I'd encourage you to formally complain to management about the treatment from the bouncers, particularly the inappropriate (not to mention illegal) grope at the door.
Maybe management won't really care...and so maybe nothing will be done. But if they do care, but don't hear about it, then it's *certain* that nothing will be done. So write a little letter or make a quick phone call. |

| I saw MB at Miami this past March. Ever since then I've been dying to see her spin again. Was sorely disappointed at not going out this weekend until this thread. I would love to see Sonic or some other venue besides TiL book talent like Sander and Barbara. |

Huh think you had a bad night, ask Manzone and Strong about theirs!
The boys were in a serious car accident after the show, but their ok.
The vehicle however is not.
Im sure the lunchboxes that rammed them were listening to z103
and kudos the boys will be making the trip to play in the much friendlier confines of Windsor tonight. |
okay, just to clarify this situation as i seem to be their online spokesperson..lol.
as _EuG_ assumed earlier that it was a DUI, it was not. manzone&strong were driving on the gardiner and slowing down to a stop for traffic (not sure what time it was) when the car behind them didnt and hit their (M&S) car at pretty much full speed. i saw photos of the vehicle and it was a very hard hit. the back bumper is pretty much at the back seat. |

im not trying to start any rumors...i just made an assumption because in previos TiL photoshots there are always photos of certain people drinking out of the gray goose bottles... i guess last night wasnt one of those nights |
i'm sorry but that's a ridiculous and stupd assumption to make  |

nightly construction westbound gardiner near 427 traffic slows very very quickly i see accidents almost nightly, be careful around there. |

I continue to cross my fingers : )
I wonder what Babs would think of the fact that a staff member of the club is calling her a bitch in an online forum
pretty unprofessional IMO |

I'm like the 100th person to say this but I'm sorry you had such a crappy night... it's even crappier than my night at Danny Howells - I don't know when I'll be going back there after that one
My first time at TiL was for Roger Sanchez and I have to say that I loved it, it was one of my best nights out, good music good vibe - no complaints.. but after that every time gets worse and worse, and I agree with how aggressive they are in the search, you'd expect something like that at Guvernment IF ANYTHING.. but you don't get anything close to that even there..
And another point that I brought up many times and still didn't get an answer is why they are bringing DJs that are for pure getting down and dirty and dancing all night (and morning) and sweating like you just don't care.. to a place like TiL, where they expect a "mature" crowd, and by that they mean people that come to make a show and spend tons of money on booze and getting chicks/dicks.. I can't figure the formula for all that and it didn't bother me SO much until the Lawler at TiL news.. SOOOO disappointing........ how are they planning to fit all the thousands of people that arrived to the skybar back in june... anyways I don't think they're putting enough thought or consideration into their bookings |

To me it seemed the way she acted was unprofessional. Are people supposed to read her mind? Just politely ask the staff to not have photo's taken and it'll be settled. |
