Anyway I wanted to stay home, but a friend of mine wanted to go out tonight. I could go into vast detail just how smart and rich this guy will be but I’ll make it brief: the guy went to an Ivy League medical school and is doing his residency in cardio-thoracic surgery. Only about 100-200 such specialists in the entire county complete this residency after medical school…in other words he’s on his way to a high six figure income…and then later on he’ll be making a seven figure salary.
Now if I was this smart I would be the cockiest , but perhaps that’s the reason I never got to this point. After all these years studying and working his ass off, he wants to hang out in LA. We go to this lame ass club across from Avalon called Forbidden city and for some reason we’re left standing outside while the LOSER bouncers can have their moment of power.
So whats up w/ bouncers or those losers w/ the VIP list? How pathetic does your life have to be that you have to work on a Saturday night letting people in/out a POS club?
Just another example why LA SUCKS. My poor friend wanted to stand in line but I finally convinced him to leave and go back home. When we visited Europe (Sweden, Holland, Germany, Czech, and Denmark) last spring the guy had so many HOT CHICKS that are FIT and SKINNY jumping on him and they were all nice and friendly. For some reason in LA we’re stuck in line while some fat SPIC bouncer, who during the weekday makes minimum wage, can exercise his ephemeral power.
Too funny…and if ever see these club employees at our clinics (and we most likely will) then my God… |

| If he has money, why didn't he just go up to the front and ask for a table/bottle service? Spending a bunch of money to get in the club is a way to get in immediately. |

I agree here. If you get their attention by getting table-bottle service the next time you come back they'll recognize you and treat you as a loyal customer. That's one way to get them loyal to you. |

i for one am glad you didn't go in. Getting in a club has nothing to do if you have money or not (for the most part) it matters about your attitude. All the schooling in the world doesn't matter...if you are still a douche.

actually if you read closely this guy is making $0 and most likely in debt $100K+ right now since he's a med school resident.
the bouncer probably has a higher net worth and makes more than this guy today :D
regardless, who doesn't know how the game is played? if you guys were so smart, why weren't you on the VIP guest list?
worst case, you slide the door guy a $20 and you don't wait to get in. oh, that's right - you need that for your ramen noodles for dinner this month. :crazy: |
