Does anybody have any information on this one? I heard it on a marco V set, and it really kixx ass! Is it going to be released anywhere soon?
I luv these Madonna - LIke a prayer new remixes... (last year someone made a remix with madonna singing + azzido da bass rythms.. mmm that was a good one.. :) IT was called 'erdbeerlimes_vs._madonna -like_a_prayer__new_remix' ) |

| I don't know if it will be released, because I'm not sure if the vocals were "legally" taken from like a prayer. Maybe its a whitelabel? |

Someone told me he had spoken to Marco and Marco said that it was NOT going to be released. I was just a joke and it got out of hand. And there are now some more songs with the vocals from Like a prayer and there would be an overkill. And also there are the legal rights issue.
But.......who knows.....

| there are rumours everywhere but most of it is true.. the vinyl wouldn't be released but i heared from (i think) tango (marco v addict, he really knows a lot about this guy! :)) that damn noa might be the b-side of Revolt! .. |

I must agree, it's a great tune!
Back in Januari I informed about the record at my record store, but nobody could tell me if there will be a release or a bootleg. I wasn't the first to ask about it, DJ Jean went crazy when he first heard the song. They had plans to record the track on DAT during one of Marco's sets and make a bootleg theirselves. Unfortunately they never did. Few days later I was at a Marco V gig and when I heard the song I went up to Marco to see if maybe he had some spare copies :D Unfortunately he didn't have one copy of it, he played it from home-burned CD. Can you beleive that? So I wouldn't count on on a release, at least not anytime soon :( |

Ehm, thanx for the credits, but ehmmmm Damn noa is not gonna be on the b-side of reVolt!. It isn't on the new con:fusion album either, the plans were changed :(
When i asked marco for the release of this, he told me that it is a littlebit late for this release now, because there are a lot of madonna mixes allready, even in the commercial charts.
But they are still looking at the chances for a release. The last time i spoke to the man he said: "im not sure if it is gonna be released" (so there is still a chance)

If he can't get the legal straight with the madonna samples, why not use the Mad'House samples and make it Marco V remix of the Mad'House song? :D

i'm almost sure that he is allowed to use the vocals of the orignal madonna, something to do with a ageing thing.. after blabla years everyone is allowed to use the vocals..
and if this isn't the cases, the marco will find some way to release it (if it even gets released!) |

I think this period of time is more than 30 years, because than it is "stuff for the community" like Jingle Bells :)
And i also think that arenīt the original Vocals, the same as the Madhouse track (which is btw. terrible) :)
Another good remake is
Madonna vs. Danger Hardcore Team - Like a Prayer, it was played at the Sylvesterrave, very good athmosphere :D |

Marco used the original vocals for damn noa. First the problem was that he was afraid for problems with the copyright and stuff.
Nowadays the problem is the big amount of madonna mixes and the popularity of them........
