| My other system has one hell of an issue. I turn the computer on, and as soon as the Windows XP screen comes on, it freezes there, and won't load. I even tried reformatting (which was successful) but I still cant get in. Help? |

Did you ever try to edit the bootscreen? I had that issue when I tried to make the XP screen look like Windows XP Homer edition (with homer simpson).
Reformatting and reinstalling worked tho. So I dont know why yours still does that |

| i believe you can load the last known config that worked, or maybe that was 2K Pro I forget! |

| NUT: No, I never edited the boot screen. Couldn't do anything so I pulled the hard drives out and stuck one of them into this system, my primary. Thanks for the tips though, guys. |

Yeah this is an odd problem but not unheard of at all, just wondering does it do it everytime you try and start up the machine?
Restart it and try and load up your last known good config (hold F8, all that jazz)
Then have a look at your boot.ini file and make sure everything is ok there and that something you have installed hasn't toyed around with it.
Let us know how you go and if the last known good made any difference. |
