| I wish I was going there!!! My parents are from Cape Town. I only went there once when I was little so I don't really remember it. Last night, my mom and I were watching this show called The Amazing Race and the players of the game had to travel to South Africa. It looked so beautiful until they showed the town of Langa. I can't believe how much poverty is in that area. |

Yeah I watched that show last night too.. Thought it was an awesome presentation of what Capetown is all about. Especially cause i had been to most of those places a year ago.
Its a weird place, with such a VAST differnce between rich and poor (The wine estate VS. Langa Township). All the crime hysteria - which is something not to be too worried about Proxie -. You gotta keep an eye out but remember that a lot of people (like parking security) want to make a rand off of you and will treat you really good if you toss em one (which is nothing). But don't get too carried away.
SO its good to go in with a proper mind set. Remember Apartheid and the circumstance of a lot of these people. Observe how much racism and segregation exists within all that beauty. Also observe how a lot of people come togther. Don't have attitude and don't believe all the a lot of people will tell you there. They've been brainwashed by a lot of things. Yes there are bad people who do bad things but for the most part everyone is out to get along...

I'll have to write a reflection report about the culture shock I've engaged (right word??), so I'll be doing extensive research about things like apartheid and stuf like that.
I spoke with the person that created the whole idea, today, and he assured me it's perfectly safe in the part of S-A I'll be going. He lives there.
One of my girlfriends found a place where we can hire a car for 325 US Dollars for 3 months!!!!! :) good!! :) me like :D |

That's just it! There's more to life than partying alone, and at this moment those parties seem like my hobby, my sole motivator..well I hate that, I wanna experience new things, grow, learn etc...! :) |

| oh well enjoy it cause i lived their for 13 years and its amazing just watch out for the crime though which is quite bad worst in the worl di believe but anyhows youll be ok cause the PE is not really bad in crime and an amazing job ure gettting which i could have that hehehe:D :D :D ;) |
