Who is "Electric Skychurch" ??

| i came accross a track called "sunrise" by Electric Skychurch and its kinda cool and mellow.....who is Electric Skychurch anyway..i never heard of them....are they even trance? |

I love them!! They play live!! They make and play all of there own tracks. I'm not sure if it's 2 guys and 1 girl, or 3 guys and 1 girl. one plays the drum pads and the girl does live vocals. (i dont know what the other 2 do) I saw them once and they blew my mind away!!! They will be performing at the wmc, too bad i'm gonna miss it :(
That's all i know. Some of there songs are trancy, i dont know what to call there type of music though. Most of there is mellow, but they got some bangin tracks though, look for em :D |

Electric Skychurch is James Lumb (composer,) Roxanne Morganstern (vocalist,) and Alex Spurkel (percussion.) And, yes, they are awesome.. just a really original sound - gotta love all the real instruments and wierd samples and .

| I hadn't heard of Electric Skychurch until I randomly saw the movie "Better living through circuitry", (with the first word written as 'be77er'). They get interviewed and one of the guys in the group is so cool, he was one of the coolest personalities in the movie. You should really see the movie if you like them. My favorite song of theirs is 'Deus'...it's really cool... |

Ya i saw the movie today on Showtime...thats how i heard of them and got the single Sunrise..it was the last track in the movie...good movie and there sound is amazing...i love it..i will check out Dues tonight...thanks |

i remember they were supposed to come to calgary a few months ago... almost a year now actually
but it was cancelled... for those from calgary, it was supposed to all go down at the saddledome |
