| Any language that is close to being Asian or whatever else you want to call it, is annoying. The people who work in the wearhouse behind our offices, are like 90% chinese and what not..HOLD CHOW! I cannot be around them for more than 5 minutes or I go insane. Especially when I go to the caf and thier in there eating, wow..they get so loud, and it doesn't even sound like it's a language. I don't think it helps when they have thier mouths full...they end up sounding like screaming banchees. |

thats just because you don't know the language and it is so far from your native tongue that it is incomprehensible.
I felt that way about french, before i had to learn it i thought it was oh lala, sacre bleu mon cherie, now i know how to err somewhat talk it, i can understand something. at least if i try lol.. its still an ugly language tho lol |

Haha I dunno. I find Japanese quite pleasant. The sounds they make are actually more similar to a European language.
Mandarin Chinese I think can sound quite nice too... like the way they speak it in Beijing.
Canto just sounds rough and crude somehow, like they're trying to pick a fight all the time.
And Viet is just odd, the tonality is weird and its all gutteral and stuff. Just sounds funny. |
