lol... :p I wonder who your Santa is

I'd still get an iPod tho...oh wait, already have one - but it's old.

i'd consider getting it but:
1. i have an ipod
2. it would have to work with my alpine deck like my ipod does
3. i'm currently in saving money mode.

My mummy is my santa and I have already had my Christmas pressies in the form of being spoilt rotten whilst she was here... And the fact that she let me off a few hundred quid :D

So I guess if there isn't a real santa, I ain't getting a zune.

Wow you're exactly in the same boat as me hahaha...

1) iPod, 2) Alpine deck with iPod integration, 3) saving!

You won't be getting any Zunes until 2007, as there is no Canadian release date set as of now.

I don't think I'd buy an HDD based player anymore. Too bulky.

Sandisk Sansa E280 or Meizu M6 Miniplayer for me.

Tigerdirect is an American based company, apparently they aren't officially released by Microsoft in Canada though. I saw that earlier and was confused. If you bought one now, you wouldn't be able to use the Zune Marketplace, which is really the whole thing behind the Zune. Without it, the Zune essentially sucks, and is nothing more than another PMP.

In a recently posted article on Canada.com, Peter Wilson discussed the Zune release in Canada. The reason the Zune will not be released immediately in Canada is due to the fact that the music service (Zune Marketplace) has not been established in Canada. The article reports that the Zune will likely not be available in Canada until at least Spring of 2007.
