Bas said it was great. Apparantly he played some older stuff too, probably since frisco hasn't seen him in awhile..

it was amazing. definitely some older stuff in there, plenty I recognized from recent live sets. He was very techno-ish, but not minimal. Overall a ing awesome set.

sasha was FIRE last night. he played from 12:30 to 4:30, which was cool cause i was expecting the worst case: that he'd just duck out after 3 hours. his mixing was great and sooo many massive tracks. scott carrelli banged out a great opening set, the last 20 min of it was an especially perfect lead in for sasha. i think he really set the tone for the night. sasha's encore was editors - camera (jxl remix). other than that the only other track i can remember right now is 16b - destiny :eyespop:

the crowd was pretty out of hand when i got there. the general admission line was wrapped around the block and will call guestlist line was about half as long. neither line was moving because the club was already full inside. thanks to esper with the extra hard ticket, i didn't have to wait too long in the will call line. i came outside around 1 and there was still a long general admission line goin. bumped into a bunch of other tas inside, including tigo, bas, bunny and the crew. i'm glad to see they all had a good time. clovis: you suck :p

off the top of my head:

Agoria - Code 1026
Artificial Latvamaki - It Is Not Now Either
Azzido Da Bass - Lonely By Your Side (Booka Shade remix + dub)
Dirk Technic - I Love You (Mugwumps Sonic Race Devestation)
Paul Kalkbrenner - Gebrunn Gebrunn
Jim Rivers - Restore
*Loco Dice - El Gallo Negro
*Muskat Nuss - Misteek Drive
Claude Vonstroke - The Whistler (Audiofly Remix)
*Nic Fanciulli - Lucky Heather
Underworld - Peggy Sussed (Pete Heller Dub)
Pryda - Remember

personal tune of the night: SCHILLER - RUHE (remix?)

The ones that I starred are songs I'm pretty sure but not 100% that I heard. The rest I'm confident about. The set was pretty similar to the Zouk, Singapore, and Zu House, Dortmund sets that got posted here, meaning ING AWESOME. It wasn't exactly the same, and was a good 4hrs long, but lots of recognizable stuff in there from those sets.

Scott Carelli also played several songs that I recognized, really good proper opening set.

All in all, this ranks in the very very very top favorite sets I've ever heard live. Sasha did not let me down whatsoever. The tracks, the mixing, the build, everything was perfect.

greatest moment of my clubbing experiences so far...wow sasha ing ripped the floor to shreds

AND WHAT WAS THAT MYSTERY MIX OF SCHILLER - RUHE???:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

that was unexpected and came out of nowhere

dammit i must have been outside when that track came on, i wouldn't be surprised if it was a sasha edit...

Havent made it to a show in a while but i got tickets weeks ago for this... Showed up bout 1 am and walked right in with the hard tix... Brought a couple vinyl for him to sign and or play... (Phantom xpander (hybrid remix) and John Creamer and Stephanie K Wish you were here (lexicon remix)... But someone told me he didnt have the vinyl only a digitsl vinyl laptop system...

Anyway, it was a hella of night, this was the first electronica show for my girl and she had a blast like she been raving since 2000 like yours truly. Anyway i would say bout 1:30 and on he really started droppin the major choons, and 2:30 he built up some crazy tracks. Nice to see sasha out in the west coast and in the us for once... He almost never comes... Amazing mixing, flawlessly Perfect!

i wish last night's sasha set was recorded :( i know carrelli recorded his own set, maybe he forgot to press stop at the end? :clown:

progressiveMOJO
I would pay a TON of money for a recording of last night.

phenomenal set, best i've heard from him in years.

that was just an edited down version of humate's remix of ruhe. i was quite surprised to hear it too.
