| It's just a habit I took up when I used to work for this big indoors amusement center. They usually had pretty big and organised stuff for christmas so all the planning started really early and we started seeing elves walking around randomly, and no one knew who the hell they were or where they came from. One day I walk into the bar and I see 2 elves sitting there drinking hard liquor, with their hats a bit crooked and a deeply depressed look on their faces. :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: |

i agree kind of with mid nov. as previously posted (lol, i bumped this thread from mid nov last year)...after thanksgiving is when i put up the tree and lights.
i can't imagine trick or treating as a kid, and seeing xmas trees up and instead of halloween stuff.
its just aggrevating, to me, because the Christmas season has become to much about "ME ME ME ME ME WANT WANT WANT WANT" . commericalism and .
sometimes the best part of the season is just sitting down by a fire w/ friends and family :( |

Well that's ok though because A-you probably don't have them ON all year long, B- it's a pain in the ass putting them up only to be taking them all down a few weeks later and C-Some people put lights up that look ok all year long. |
