This has a point, however it has an exemption, one me & Jason talked about months ago, where regular members who're doing the odd broadcast have the right to have a thread in cor to attract people, but chrissi didn't know this. I can see how you took it as a threat, but I can also see that she didn't mean it to be one, it was just slightly ambiguous, something we lose on the net where we can't add facial expressions etc to properly get the point over. can you two kiss & do each others makeup now ? |

I just found it hilarious that you are in there telling us all off (especially when I wasnt even a dick), and explaining how we're all just trying to look cool by acting this way. Who do I think is trying to act oh so clever and mighty? Why, you of course, o voice of reason. Nevermind that the mud slinging was started by this guy and HIM only.
I admire your principles of being respectful and patient with noobs or s or people asking dumb quastions. I used to be that person asking dumb questions and posting things like "My favorite tiesto track is sunset on ibiza!". The difference is, when I made mistakes, and people told me off for doing so, I didn't come back swinging with insults and yous. I recognized that I didnt know as well, apologized, and LEARNED. I made friends, read, and became a part of TA.
My problem is that you uphold these principles above all else, even reality and logic. There are many cases where I would have been completely in agreement with you, this was not one of them. You will, as evident, continue to argue that you are right because, well you think you are. And you will continue to think you are right, because apparantly you are incapable of admitting any wrong. Because you know sooo much better than all of us and are sooo much more wise...that seems like acting very high & mighty to me...
I will add that I really like Echoes most of the time, in fact pretty much all of the time, and that this is just what I'm thinking today, on a slow Wednesday at work :) |

I didn't defend him. TAs were being dicks and I said that.
I don't know him. I don't care who he is. I don't even want to know him. I don't even remember his name, already.
This is what I do know. I read several posts where TAs were being dicks and I've seen it before and usually I don't care but ja, I wanted to know what the track was, too. He said he already posted in the appropriate forum. Didn't get an answer. So he was trying MD like as a last attempt to find out.
Others have asked in MD what should have been posted elsewhere and found answers. I have, myself, answered questions in threads that appeared in MD that should have appeared elsewhere and if they had, I might not have seen them.
Just cuz you guys don't like someone doesn't mean you should be dicks. And if I call you dicks when you are being dicks, why would you be mad at me?
I don't get it.
You know you're being dicks when you're being dicks. Right?
Anyway, I don't even know if you were being a dick Clovis. I'm not going back to MD now to find out. If you were, you were. If you weren't you weren't. I don't care. |
