Lot of these tunes really aren't my bag and are kinda done, but the flow is decent...

I however CANNOT STAND click... :p Seriously kinda killed the mix for me...

I had the Keep Control remix on my september demo.

the carrot top haircut is done too:p

Louis this mix wasn't my fav because the tracks on it were a little too played out for me...but on a positive note, the flow and mixing was good. You have come a long way since the first mix i heard from ya man

ugh, when i heard it [something like 5 months ago] it pretty much solidified in my head the idea that Steve Angello had completely lost his path.

Track of the mix = Switch - A Bit Patchy (Eric Prydz Remix).

However, lots of other DJs are playing this. That being said, all the other DJs play what ya wanna play and chances are it'll end up sounding better than if you go searching for unknown tracks that arent your style.

you mean EVERY dj is playing this...

second point i agree... its not everyone who knows these tracks in and out like the TAs... smallllll percentage of the clubber scene. For one night out, you get 10 TAs TOPS for every 500-1000 people in a club. You're pretty safe playing something thats 3 months old...

on the other hand, there are always unknown tracks that are your style.... just not on beatport lol...

white labels and promos are the way to go

Thats my most hated edm track of all time. No joke.

those tracks work for circus though guys...circus musically is sort of an innitiation for those underground sounds with a just enough afterhours style dirties to get people into it.Like 404 said these tracks won't work for people who breathe this music like we do.For the occasional listener who isn't in the loop its hot ass .
I love hearing old tracks mixed in to new stuff in sets, but its the best when they are a few years old and unexpected. The beat addicts in the place faces light up and you can tell who is really into the when they recognize it.

ps 404...old ninjatune vinyls and mixtapes on the auction block in early 07;)

commercial to us is underground for 98% of the listeners:p

hard to lose your path when all your songs are produced in 2 hours and sound the same.Other than a few remixers..most overhyped/rated producer ever.Swedish House Mafia = marketing genius.

I in' love Angellos's 2K4 releases... He had some dope out. Then all he did was remix remix remix remix remix remix remix remix... and then b0p out a couple singles all of which sucked... But I'm tellin you, some of his 2k4 was ing great house.

i don't disagree with your statement, but my taste just didn't like most of his stuff even then.It had to be good i suppose for people to go out and buy all the they flooded the market with afterwards.. tiestor style:p

ps anything good from angello...ingrosso had a hand in it:p

For sure, but really I don't give a who's name is on something, as long as it's good. I mean it was fun funky house, but it hadn't pushed into cheese, it was just ing solid. then it just got out of hand with the swishy noise and the same beat over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

But then again, he did p00p out a nice remix of Magnolia - It's All In Vain which will make any house head start bumpin'.

But yeah point of this, click is to me on so many levels.
Marcus007
tell me objectively why click hasn't good ;)
