| Pirate Radio Sessions will win handsdown. CS was a very cutting edge DJ in the early 90's then he jumped on the commercial dance bandwagon joined Love Inc. and became a vagino. |

I've seen Chris Sheppard a few times. He's a decent DJ and knows how to work the crowd. My favorite memory of him is when he played RJ's Boom Boom Saloon (a club in Ottawa. Doesn't exist anymore.)
I used to listen eagerly on my radio whenever Pirate Radio sessions was on. There was nothing like it on the radio at the time. Only thing that came close was Electric Circus on Much Music with host Monica Diol.
Danny D is meh but his mixing is pretty good sometimes. |

Chris Sheppard for sure. Danny D plays what everyone else is already playing. Shep used to introduce new stuff. He was one of the guys who brought UK breakbeat to Canada back in the early 90s.
I might be a bit biased these days though since the producer of pirate radio sessions (DJ Swet) is one of the hosts of Tekfonik Radio :) |
