Warcraft III

So I've finally made the leap from playing Warcraft, Warcraft II, and am now playing Warcraft III and keep getting thrashed by the comp on 'easy'.
It's the magic and heroes that completely confuse me. I just don't get it.
Also, should there a be a TA clan on BattleNet? |

Seriously though, the trick to W3 is just to make 2 barrack buildings at the beginning, relay all the troops to your hero, and kill creeps. If the enemy attacks just teleport back to your base and kill them. Upgrade hall, build a second hall/mine and focus on a particular unit to defeat the enemy with upgrades from your armory. Plus memorize the spell quick-keys for your favorite heros. |

Thanks! Will try some of that. How do I get the priests to do spells? I couldn't find spell for the water element anywhere. |

see, this is why you should buy your games, as they come with instructions. the priests dont summon the elementals, the human wizard hero does. right-clicking on a human magic-users' abilities will make them auto-cast. |

Maybe like, sub level 5 solo ladder, that will work. |
