Wow guys thanks. This mix has been so well recieved, gotten on a numer of radio stations...

It's so strange as I honestly thought very few people even liked progressive breaks. I very rarely play them out, but on the 27th of Jan I am throwing an art party ( Kultura - Link To Event Info )with my friends in a gallery here in Calgary, it's my one night a year to let the progy breaks shine.

I am already collecting tracks for my next progy breaks mix as well, and I won't hesitate to share it when it is done, now that I know a few of you here are really into them. Maybe some of you guys will do a mix of this style too? I woud love to hear them!

Being that humble is a refreshing trait to find within a DJ, dont lose that.

Looks very interesting. I'm downloading it right now and will post comments later.

Still downloading but I was taking a look at some of the other sets on your site. Looks like a pretty good collection of sets you have there man.

That was a pretty good set. I haven't heard much breaks, and wanted to get a hold of some. So I can't really comment in any meanigful detail. But thanks for sharing, I'll definetly be listening to this for a while :).

Thanks guys, humble I will always try to be.

I am in Costa Rica right now and really wish I would have brought some tunes to spin as there have been a few opportunities already, next time I will be more prepared. All I can do is sit in the sun and watch the surfers, go for a swim when I get too hot, then head for a shower and a beer at the beachside club, and repeat the above steps all day.... not too shabby.

Back to tunes though, I have a new mix up which is an hour of progressive breaks and an hour of progressive house, you can find it here:

The breaks section is very much like the All These Things Mix.

Enjoy!

The first half of the mix I mentioned above (Kultura 2007)was actually picked up by ProgressiveHouse.com for one of their shows.

You can find it on my site here: http://www.area709.com/darvin/music/mix/32/

i might just be a noob but all of those links download .m3u files not .mp3's. is there a way to save those to the hard drive?
Nokturnal
M3U files are playlist files that are required to stream MP3s (they don't download them). You just load those up in iTunes or Winamp and the mix will play.

For downloading, if you register, then go into the View Details of any mix, the download button is in there.

Let me know if you are still having troubles =)
