far too many people quote this though without having any idea what exactly "gameplay" is. i certainly doubt the majority of the microsoft or sony fanboy club could give you an accurate definition ;)
for the price of the next gen consoles, id just buy a PC. then you can run almost all the big games that will be released. they look better too :p |

That's just the thing, dude. Not all the big games will be released to PC. Metal gear is a big series in its own right and I can't recall seeing any of them on the PC. Halo, yes on PC and on Xbox and the 360. Grand Theft Auto. I think Vice City was never released for the PC but I could be wrong. I know San Andreas was, but thanks to that "Sex Mod" that got pulled off the shelves, LMAO.
That's just my perception of PC vs. Console, anyway. Both have their Pros and Cons but I'll let someone else post 'em. :p |

Where was this confirmed? As far as I know MGS3 is PS3 exclusive for the time being, and they may do a dumbed-down port for other consoles. Still though, the game is made with the PS3 in mind, so you'd get the best experience there. |

nah, they all made it to the PC. and you'll find more and more games will be across all platforms, tho i think we missed a few in the MGS franchise. they might be released a bit after their "exclusive" release on whatever system, but publishers realise to maximise profits theyve gotta release as widely as possible. and since the PC is less of a competitor with microsoft & sony, more % of games see a PC release. well, at least those big really popular games.
not that im worried either way, console ports irritate the outta me. if i play one more game where i have to unlock , i just might bash someone with my copy of fifa 07 :p |

PCs games are absolutly right now. plus there are alot of games that are on xbox 360 that are not on pc...like ghost recon and gears of war.
I used to love old pc games like half life anf star craft and many more, but now they are all e. |

no, ghost recon didnt see a PC release at all did it!? :rolleyes: and the xbox version certainly wasnt dumbed down for the masses either! :rolleyes:
and let me tell you, im hardly worried about yet another overated console FPS that might not get a PC release. serious rofl at all the xbox idiots raving over halo like it was the second coming :haha:
