I had a bird who was about 2 years old and a fish that was about 6 months. About 2 weeks ago, I woke up really early because I was having odd dreams. I walked down to the kitchen and both my bird and my fish were dead. That was a pretty ty day. |

he's actually still really tiny. i think he's just small-framed but i wonder if he'll ever get bigger or fatter as he gets older.

that sucks. :( my friend at work can't have any pets at her apartment either and it drives her crazy. |

My dad has this uncanny proclivity for raising obese pets. It's funny - we had a cat for 17 years and she was overweight for most of her life - had diabetes and everything. He raised a parakeet for like 6 years and she died from a heart attack or something. and now he has 2 young cats with pot bellies.
I should get him a pet turtle for Christmas or something. I don't think I've ever seen a morbidly corpulent turtle before. |
