globally speaking, most clubs and festivals dont allow people to bring in any cameras AT ALL no matter who is playing.

We have it pretty easy here usually.

no, but not everyone is perfect at handling situations. is everyone capable of people calm and collected at ALL times? no.

I still think they could have saved themselves (and everyone else) the aggravation if the just posted that policy it at the door instead of inciting broad negative feedback.
meh...
One of the many reasons I was never a big fan of the Guv...

honestly last night was bull, i dont know if i'm going to comeback next week. Tommy Lee was doing absolutely nothing on the stage, he was literally just jumping around and pretending that he's lowering the bass. Then he ditched everyone and didn't even show up at the drink like it was promised (he was supposed to be the host of the night)

bouncers were ing s all night and not just at the guv but everywhere. First when i was getting searched this girl literally just grabs my crotch so i go to her "is this necesary?" this ing moron bouncer shows up wearing exco pants and start flashing a light in my face "YO, Yo, Yo what are you doing here?", i'm like "Nothing , stop flashing a light in my face, its not dark in here". Then the girl is liek "dont worry everything is fine" and he left. The the same guy almost kicked my friend out for reaching into a box of flyers and putting them in his pocket. The bouncer thought it was a pack of cigarettes that he was trying to hide (wtf?).
Then around 1:30am i was walking out of the washroom towards the bar i see lights flashing everywhere and 2 seconds later about 15 bouncers push everyone out of the way, i was literally pushed/elbowed to the other side of the hall because there was so many of them and it ended up being a false alarm because there was no fight.

At around 3:30am every single one of us got kicked out from the vip, even the main promoter because they decided to give the vip to tomme lee (the guy who does not spin). At that point i decided that it was enough and we all left. Some more reasons why i hated this night:

- no one was allowed to stand on the balcony at the drink
- pictures were not allowed all night
- Cedric Gervais was hospitalized and did not play at the drink

There are only 2 reasons why pictures were not allowed of tommy lee, either he doesnt want people to know that he DOES ALL behind the decks or he doesnt want people to know how ed up he looks.
There were many more factors that made this night even worse but i don't want to discuss it on the board..

i give this night a 2/10

didnt plan on going last night and im sure glad we made the 2:30am decision. DJ aero was ing incredible. where do u find a dj sidekick so unknown yet so good. Id describe the music as an edgier sweedish haus mafia style with the perfect amount of subtle turntablism thrown in for good measure. I will def check out this dj again in the future. Tommy lee was hilarious and had the crowd pumped up with his antics. Random fantastic night at guvy, also a top notch set outa mark to finish er off.
9.5/10 night

was fun rockin it our with ya rachel!

As in it was a random crappy night that sometimes happens? I know the feeling which is why I try and stay away from the Guv and only go the occasional time. I haven't been back since September I think? Can't even remember. Glad to hear Pett and Rachel had a badass time. (minus the groping, idiots...)

Sounds like alot of aggrevation all caused by a scumbag who showed up there to DJ and couldn't even pull that off....I'm happy I didn't come out for this one

+ 1 - As if they don't love the attention.
They all need to get their heads out of their asses!

Here's some pics I managed to take when he was in Australia last year - same happened here, and there was this huge son of a bitch security guard in particular that did my head in pushing everyone around who tried to get close or take pics :whip: :whip:, you would have thought he was protecting Elvis Presley or something!

+ 1 100%

For the record, he should stick with playing drums.

tommy lee was never booked to dj.
i was told at the very beginning that he was hosting, which he pretty much did. he was the one interacting with the crowd.
