just because the scene is full of money making pump out the crap labels doesn't mean a track can become a classic any quicker.

LOL that's the dumbest post i've seen on TA so far, i wonder where you pulled the 25 years out of?? haha I think you should do a little research before making a statement like that, you can start by looking up the definition of the word "classic" ...

haha dude, just drop it, you've made a retarded remark already by saying none of those songs are classics, you clearly don't know much about electronica so there's really no point in trying to defend your comment.

lol. cars aren't considered a classic until they are 25 years old, likewise with furniture, paintings, sculptures, and most other pieces of art. enjoy your day.

oh and it's called sarcasm. you should try it sometime.

sorry, but thats a retarded comment. The age has no relevance to its ability to be a classic, its within context to the genre itself that a song can be defined a classic. We don't need a superficial number like 25years to define classic. In the context of trance music (a newer genre) 6-7 years can be defined classic. Even though the genre does expand a decade further.

Quite simply, classic refers to songs that inspired the genre into what it is today!
Candeeman
Cosmicman - I Love You
Chicane - Saltwater
Vimana - We Came
Kamya Painters - Endless Wave
Pett
they're classics because of there significance to the edm scene , not just how old they are

i thought this would be pretty obvious

If your comment is referring to my post ... your sarcasm and response was really uncalled since my comment was specifically directed at ChemEnhanced's ... but either way, here's the definition and meaning of the word "classic" from the dictionary, you should try it sometime ;-)so that maybe next time you'll feel like jumping into an argument and make a fool out of yourself you'll have something smarter to say

you've totally missed the point. we want a seperate night of mark oliver. a seperate night dedicated to the gift. i mean, it would still suck if it was this friday (cuz i couldn't go) but the outrage is not over the date, but the fact that this legendary party got downgraded to a sideshow of a visiting dj, when we all know that Mark DESERVES a night all his own
