| actually i agree with great outdoors as well about having those rare hard to get vinyls. it does suck when you paid a good amount of money PLUS spending a load of time to find the record and then you have this twat who just downloads the mp3 and they can play it too. thats life, i guess. :sadgreen: |

JUST BUY VINYL! and if you're a CD dj, buy the actual singles! in my opinion, playing a burned copy of a mp3 that you don't actually own is cheating!.. cos then no1 has respect for the dj's that actually have the good or hard to find tracks in their crates! |
word up! :) + it doesn't beat the feeling when u got the hands of that rare vinyl u have searched for a long time :D |

Dudes, u all need to chillout! Wookie's joke has just gone over all of ur heads! No need for this .
But back on to the topic, Final Scratch is a sweet idea. But the whole idea about DJing - like what others have said - is about finding that rare vinyl which not many others have. It would ruin vinyl sales, therefore the labels would make all therefore there would be no where near as much music being released! Think about it :)

| I agree absolutely. That's why for this reason alone, I believe Final Scratch will not take over traditional vinyls. DJ-ing as an art has existed way before digital music came into existence and it has survived till today; I see no need for any changes. |
