I missed Richie Santana opening for Victor Calderone because I had to be at 3 birthday parties that evening. There was a huge turn out & few of my friends even had stand in line for an hour and a half to get into Crobar and they got there after 4am. I heard that it was a crazy line like that all through the night until about 6-7am and also due because Roxy closed. I got there about 5am and the line was nearing 10th Ave, so thank god I always go VIP for Calderone and I didn't get stuck in that hell.
Anyway, it was an awesome party, but I am still too fried to write about it. All, I can say is that his new style of deep house is incredible!!! He was spinning very hard base kicking stuff this time starting from around after 11am and until he finished spinning at 4:15pm. Tell you guys the truth: I haven't raved like that in about 5 years, although I also raved my ass off at the PvD After-hours @ Element. (Thank you, 1Love.)
Video 5 & 7 are the best in my opinion

I came in at 3 with some friends. I was worried the night was going to be a crobar bust but was pleasantly surprised by the vibe and the music. Crowd better than I expected. Victor was on fire! This was the best set I've heard from him this year. Glad I had a chance to make it out.

LOL, You found "THE VIDEO", of what it looks like @3pm in Crobar when Calderone is saying his goodbyes for the night. Thank god the dude with the camera started filming exactly to the right from where I was dancing at that moment. (no point in denying I was right there) The chick with no Bra is the regular at every Calderone party dancing on stage.:toothless I dunno, but going to "Evolve" parties reminds me very much of "Disco 2000" @ Limelight. 'enough said' :thepirate The dude in the end of the video is a DJ you know too or at least you heard him spin on the radio FM. (he is also a regular @ Evolve)

Last month he outdid himself with the minimal-deep/house-tech, which in my opinion was his best mix of the year, but this time he actually pounded the living out of us with hard hitting base. It was amazing and very satisfying the last 5 hours of his mix with the hard base I couldn't stop raving through. (thank god this club allows use of Glow-sticks) As I previously said before : "He is one and only holding it down in nYc these days true to that nYc Sound!".
I can't wait for his NYE bombardness!!! WMC Calderone should be something to watch out for in 2007! :disbelief
