Hi all,

I've put together a mix of what I've been playing at Prescription at Metro Lounge on Thursdays. Starting out dubby, it gets deeper, with an electro tinge. It's stays relatively chill tho - as those who've been to Metro would expect.

http://www.bodega-audio.com/fat_eas...tro_nov2006.mp3

1. What Is Dub? - Alix Alvarez [Sole Channel]
2. The Kicker - Sunset Stylers [Cosmopolitan]
3. Up 2 11 (Yank Digital Only Remix) - Gutterpunk [Funktion]
4. Bachelor Buttons - Fat East Coast [Bodega]
5. No Refunds - Content [Junior Boys Own]
6. Fourty Degree - Terry Lee Brown Junior [Plastic City]
7. Hifly - Forteba [Plastic City]
8. No More Dating Djs (John Ciafone Dub) - Nick Holder [NRK]
9. Last Laugh - Panic Button [Bodega]
10. Misteek Drive (Robert Babicz) - Muskat Nuss [Precinct]
11. JAL To Tokyo (Paul Woolford Vocal Remix) - Underworld [Underworld]
12. Blood (Tom Middleton Deep Mix) - Francois Dubois [UrbanTorque]
13. Treasure - Satoshi Fumi [UrbanTorque]

Feedback, as ever, much appreciated. I'm thinking of having Last Laugh as the next release on Bodega so speak now if you hate it. ;)

Also, I just noticed that the latest on Bodega (Fat East Coast - Anglophonica/Bachelor Buttons) is on the Balance chart for this week - which makes 5 out of the last 6 releases. Hoo-wah!

lotsa love,
Matthew

This is a solid set. This is the sort of set you can just put on like a Ronco Rotisserie.

I suggest posting it in here.

All the tracks really built on one another and the overall flow is perfect. I really liked this mix. I also love "no more dating DJs" so maybe that had some influence :pAs for "last laugh" which comes after that jam, I like it, kinda bubbly and fun, but no peak hour banger obviously.

I like how it really kicks up with "JAL to Tokyo", Woolfords remix is nice :). I think if "Blood" was any other track it wouldn't have worked so well,(bit of an energy loss imo) but being that it was that track - it works, and you kind of end it on that epic deep note, rather than that banging crazy note.

If you liked this mix people, I'd seriously check this out. This is a Mix called Centrum and is easily the best mix that's been up on TA all year. Erika, Tag, and I listened to this after Vibe last time and I think everyone really enjoyed it. (keep your ears open for the dance cook jam! :p)

That's cuz you were coming down off a speed and dealing with the "sasha" which made act you like a total douche.

Your perception was off.

If I was going to totally discount your opinion I needed some real proof. I'm sorry though, I can only imagine the pain you are going through/went through.

That made me laugh out loud. Should I assume you'd dislike this equally?

I'm checking out that Centrum mix right now, btw.
