Seen him 3 times now and last night was definately off the hook. lots of great moments including when he invited the crowd on stage to dance. Very sincere performer and unbelievable musician. |

I was there with Cuzo and Shanny, we danced all night stage right!
I just wanted to give the lad a cuddle!
His rhythm and musical ability was phenomenal as was his stage command. I loved the fact that he told us that we brought great energy! Felt like a really intimate gig. |

he was ing awesome, when he hits those tribal moments and just bangs out those rythms, with the yadaki I die...no one should miss him next time he comes here....he was loving the kool haus too, i thought he put on a far better show over his Pheonix show IMO
That girl on the stage who insisted on being the Bon Jovi groupee was unreal...she hands a naturalist, greenpeace type her phone to take a pic and he doesnt know what to do - awesome....
Amazing show someone needs to bring him for an outdoor show. |

Went into this show not knowing what to expect at all...
...and was greeted by a 300 or so pound aboriginal australlian nearly nude on the stage, i believe covered in mud, or something else turning him brown and watching him go nuts on a didgeridoo, and that wasn't even the headliner.
Xavier Rudd was one of the more unique shows I've ever seen. It is predominantly one person, surrounded by drums, didgeridoo's, guitars, and other percussion instruments.
He played a blend of certain tunes sounding like Ben Harper type folk rock, then would switch to strictly instrumental tribal like tunes, with mostly drums and bass, and a deep bass didgeridoo overtop of it. Rachel was not kidding when she said it could have been chus and ceballos, the quality of the sounds coming from all the instruments, being played simultaneously by one person was pretty incredible. |

10/10!
Best concert I've been in a while, and it kinda rekindled back to my hippy roots.
He was an explosion of percussive rhythm, whole lot of earthy soul with mostly eco minded lyrics. The best thing to see and experience was the extremely responsive crowd. Yes, there was the typical grungy looking hippies doing their hippy shake but heck it was the first event I've been to in god who knows when that had a real vibe to it.
And yes to all, I'm still going to shower and shave. |
