yeh, to true, that tune was probably my favourite of the whole essential mix tour, then i find it for sale on ebay for £2.50! |

Hahaha it was my favorite too and after reading through the tracklist thread before actually hearing it I thought there was no way it would live up to the hype everone gave it but in the first minute alone I realized this track was going to be my favorite for years to come. I thought I would never find it but hey, may have not got the best deal as you but I did find it :D |

Thanks to kind souls in the Download Thread 2 I've managed to complete my EM World Tour '99 collection. I've had a handful of sets for a number of years but thought it'd be a good place to share your thoughts on these sets.
Personally I'd only just got into trancier EDM in early 1998 and didn't even realise these gems of sets were being played early on Sunday morning. I'd be pretty much glued to my radio for Friday evening at boarding school and Saturday when I could. Only when I joined TA did I realise what I had missed! For me these sets stand the test of time and I get that feeling I used to get, the excitement I'd get on a Friday evening, as a 14yr old waiting to listen to the best the world's DJs could offer.

Any notice that the Homelands set has a lot of skipping in it? Probably from the decks, and I wonder if anyone has the missing segment of the Miami Set. Obviously the sets are pre-recorded and a small portion of it was never broadcast as some breaking news regarding the Balkans War interrupted the mix, apparently!
