okay i grew up in plymouth county massachusetts so my thanksgiving traditions are pretty standard.
HOWEVER, i went to school out in san diego and still do... and i swear people have added the weirdest things to thanksgiving meals.
i'd like to think growing up where the whole festival started gives me the right to say what should be at a thanksgiving table and what shouldn't be... but that's niave.
anyways what weird or different traditions have you seen?
i've seen since i've been living in california:
-a Thai family with GOAT instead of turkey
-marshmallows in YAM's/sweet potatoes(wtf!)
-welch's cranberry coctail juice |

We always have Turkey and lasagna instead of just Turkey as my step-dad and I don't like Turkey.
Also, Sparkling Apple Cider + jello = win |
