| I am about a month in now. It's not that hard really. I still have tunes, the only thing I miss is that big club experience. Much easier than quitting smoking. |

I have not gone out since Thursday, November 9. It has been difficult for me, especially when "friends" go on and on about what I missed, and what I will miss out on.
I think that my decision to take a bit of a break from clubbing for a while is for the best. :) |

after Tiesto, indefinitely (except alcohol). I just feel like complete after a big night. It screws my sleeping, makes me depressed, snappy and unmotivated for at least 2-3 days. And the funny thing is that I've only been doing the chem thing for 2 years and not that regularly.
ah well. |

| Armin in Niagara Falls for me; as for chems, it was Decadence. I'm the same way as you DJ Smitty20. After a party I am out of commission for like 3 days, and I'm an emotional wreck afterwards, I can't handle it anymore, love the music, just not the feeling afterwards. |

It's kind of depressing because it's so much fun and I know I don't abuse it. I"ve only done it maybe, 5-6 times this year and the comedown/hangover is worse every time. I dont know if it's the quality of what i'm getting or just tolerance/novelty wearing off. I'm just too busy and have too much stuff on the go to have to write Sunday through Tuesday off lazing and sulking. After Tiesto, it might be only a yearly thing. it's funny because when I first started doing E I fell in love with it so quickly and my experienced friends said there would come a time when I felt like this. I doubted them. They were right. |

| i think the longest i've gone without partying is like 6 weeks but everytime i say i'm taking a break it usually lasts only about 2-3 weeks then someone twists my rubber arm and i go out. |

I have partied sober before, as I said, Armin in Niagara Falls. didn't even have a drip of alcohol, but even after that, I was still so tired and grumpy, I didn't feel like for 3 days, but I was still really groggy.

Yeah, I'm, the exact same way, I've only done it twice this year and both times were the worst "comedowns" ever. |
