It's always a pleasure when people actually ASK if you want to dance too. At Sander K a guy came up to me and asked if I would like to dance, and I simply said "No thanks, my bf is at the bar" and he said "Ok" and walked away. I was surprised...nowadays guys usually just try to grind all over you if they want to dance with you! |

Wow I never hear that often enough, and that was TIL crowd too. If you like Dane Cook listen to his rant on clubbing and when guys try to pick up girls at clubs, way too funny. |

| Top 40 clubs make me want to end it all, lol... if it isn't a solid EDM event, I just can't go. Unless its 80's night... haha... thats always a blast ;) Nothing like checking out some of your favorite musics roots. |

yeah i notic that all the time and i'm a guy the worst is montreal like i've seen a girl basicaly get tag teamed by liek 5 guys on the dance floor and she had to push em off one by one and run away.... i'm the worst at picking up i wait for a girl to come and dance with me =P |

| Unfortunately I have been dragged to a few of these clubs (Tonic, Mink) and never have a good time there. A few good friends of mine ALWAYS go to Mink on Friday so here and there I'll come out for a bit (it's free cover/drinks all nite so why not). It's funny because they look at me attending EDM events like I'm the weird one. It's still and always will be a meat market. UGHHHHHHH... |

its funny cuz i used to go to these top 40 clubs when i was still 18. By the time i turned 19 i discovered the afterhours scene and stop going to those top 40s. Now i can never go to those places, it just puts me in a bad mood. I cant watch all those people pretending to have a good time just to have a change at finding a lay. When ever someone drags me out to a place like that i usualy make em go to guvernment right after to recover and bring up the mood.
so i just avoid those places completely |

cause its local, big, usually full.
