It's 'smoother' but less crisp... so if you're at a high resolution and with small fonts things become harder to read because there isn't as much space between characters (since the cleartype made the fonts wider/bolder) |

I agree, but god damn, italicized fonts look sooooooo much better in cleartype than in the standard font.

Italicized text isnt important enough to make me put up with another microsoft program.
Also, i've yet to hear about improvements in the spyware/adware domain for IE7 |
