Tune in this afternoon from 1pm (GMT) for this week’s special episode of Euphoric Horizons. This week’s broadcast features the sets as played by Ben Coleman and I at Essence on 11th November.
Now in its third year, Essence has already played host to some of the finest undiscovered DJ talent as well as some of the bigger names. Its home of JT’s in Banbury near Oxford gives the night itself a totally unique underground atmosphere with the sort of refreshing, intimate, good-time clubbing vibe which is all too often lost in large-capacity venues.
The real sound of Essence is an uplifting mix of house, trance and hard dance incorporating cutting edge new tunes laced with club classics. Each bi-weekly Saturday event is built around Ben as resident plus special guests, and each DJ to play there has left with a smile on their face and a desire to return.
