I had a great time Friday night. It was definitely way too crowded but Loco played some great dancable music. It was my first time there and other than it being over crowded, Cielo lived up to its reputation. Great sound, good crowd (aka no juicer guidos), and a nice change from the usual larger venues.
Dennis Rodgers started the night out with some chilled out groovy minimal. Great stuff for an opener. Then Loco came on and played some awesome, fun, beats. My cousin came up with me and for someone who isn't into the scene at all to have a blast like he did, that says a lot.
Only tracks I could ID are:
Ricardo Villalobos - Fizheuer Zieheuer
Matthew Dear - Mouth to Mouth
Great meeting dcctnycprincess. Also good to see GHB, Barosoap and Lunasea. Thanks for the birthday shots ladies! Also got to talk with Burridge for a bit. Hell of a cool guy. Can't wait to party at Cielo again! |
